mock data
is it okay to use mock data for demo purposes because my idea is sort of a PoC for monetizable B2B app? thank you.

Hi there,
Great question! Yes, mock/seed data is fine — the rules don't require real production data. Keep in mind the Impact & Real-World Applicability judging criterion asks whether the project "solve[s] a meaningful problem for a real audience" and whether the solution is "potentially shippable." So while mock data is 100% allowed, your demo and description should make a clear case for who would use this and why — PoC framing actually works well here as long as the architecture is real (i.e., you're genuinely using Aurora, Aurora DSQL, or DynamoDB as your primary backend).
The one hard rule is that the AWS Database integration itself must be real — the Storage Configuration screenshot you'll submit is specifically there to prove that.
Hope this helps and good luck with your project!
